With a strong interest in diabetes, I have focused for the past 21 years solely on the prevention, treatment, and research on type 2 diabetes mellitus. For the past 20 years I have been directly involved in all aspects of type 2 diabetes mellitus research, clinical care, and education. For diabetes research, I have been directly involved with the design, planning, implementation, budget, performance of procedures, data gathering and analysis, abstract, manuscript, presentation, and all aspects of research drug stewardship.
