Research & Grants
Pancreatioc-Biliary Medicine - Over the past five years and currently I have led a clinical
research team whose focus has spanned interests in pancreatobiliary endoscopy,
endoscopic training, applications of lasers in pancreatobiliary disease
(especially difficult stone management), and animal studies of natural orifices
transenteric surgery (NOTES), which is the current frontier area of endoscopic
research. I have served as a resource and actively mentored GI fellows, medical
students, and Internal Medicine residents in a variety ongoing research
projects that have produced several publications and national presentations. -
