Lola C Morgan, M.D.

Professor/Clinical

Dr. Morgan works at UT Health San Antonio and is devoted to caring for people with epilepsy.  Her clinics are based at the MARC and University Hospital as well as performing volunteer work as an attending to the Epilepsy Foundation clinics here in Bexar and Uvalde Counties.  Dr. Morgan provides comprehensive management in treating epilepsy with medications, device and surgical options.  As part of this work, she is the Medical Director of the Neurodiagnostic Center based at University Hospital with a passion for quality and safety that is reflected in our care.  Additionally, Dr. Morgan serves as the Co-Director of the South Texas Comprehensive Epilepsy Center and guide the development and goals of our program.  Part of her research work has been based in the inpatient setting, serving as site principal investigator on multiple clinical trials dedicated to improving care for status epilepticus.  She is active in mentoring the future generation of neurologists and epileptologists and has engaged a wide range of mentees from different levels including neurophysiology fellows, neurology residents, engineering and medical students.  The overarching goal of her focus is dedicated to the advancement of the field of epilepsy and providing excellent epilepsy care.
