Dr. Chad Hodges earned his BS PT degree in May 1994 at UTHSCSA. After working in multiple hospitals and out-patient clinics, he pursued his passion of Manual Therapy and graduated from a 2-year post-graduate residency program in 2003 obtaining his fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Manipulative Therapy (FAAOMPT). 

He was the Clinical Coordinator of Clinical Education (CCCE) for the veteran’s hospital PT clinic in San Antonio from 1999-2009.  During this time, he also taught Continuing Education Courses as well as guest lectured at the UTHSCSA Doctorate Physical Therapy program. Pursuant to this he was hired in 2009-present as a Clinical Faculty member of the same PT program in which he assisted in teaching multiple classes each year, focusing on manual-manipulative techniques, and treating movement impairments.   

In 2013, he obtained his transitional doctorate (DPT) degree from UTHSCSA. Dr. Hodges has lectured and participated in multiple continuing educational courses including Sacro-Iliac Dysfunction, Current Concepts in Rehab of the knee and Current Concepts in Rehab of the Shoulder. He has actively been a Clinical Instructor for over 20 years and continues to mentor and teach both physical therapy and medical students.

Additionally, he has certifications in Dry-Needling and Blood-Flow Restriction interventions. He currently works as a lead PT at UT Health while participating as Adjunct Faculty for the UTHSCSA PT Dept.
