Dr. Galindo is a San Antonio native who graduated from Winston Churchill High School in 1972. He attended the University of Dallas for undergraduate studies and obtained a B.A. in Biology. He graduated Magna Cum Laude while playing four years of intercollegiate baseball. His medical training was done at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas where he completed medical school, a flexible internship, and Orthopaedic surgery residency. His foot and ankle fellowship was obtained at the Wagner Institute in Whittier, California, affiliated with USC. He returned home in 1986 and has been in private practice until his affiliation with UT Health San Antonio in 2014. His current practice is limited to surgical and medical problems below the knee.
