Sonal Chaudhari, MD
Specialist-Fellow
Dr. Sonal Chaudhari completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2016, earning a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology, along with minors in Biomedical Research and Global Health. She then obtained her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, in 2020. While in medical school, Dr. Chaudhari served as a class representative on the Medical School Senate and held various leadership positions, including in the Student Wellness Committee.
Dr. Chaudhari returned to Los Angeles to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UCLA, finishing in 2024. During her residency, she was the Wellness Chief for two years, where she focused on initiatives to promote well-being. Dr. Chaudhari is currently pursuing a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at UT Health San Antonio.
With a strong commitment to providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care, Dr. Chaudhari is particularly dedicated to serving the Hispanic community. She is passionate about making a positive impact in her patients' lives. Her research interests include novel therapeutics for recurrent ovarian cancer, endometrial intraepithelial neoplasia, quality improvement in perioperative management, provider wellness, and cancer prevention. Dr. Chaudhari is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO), the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI), and the American Medical Women's Association (AMWA).
