Dr. Yaxia Yuan received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Peking University in China and completed postdoctoral training at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Yuan joined the Department of Biochemistry and Structural Biology at UTHSA in 2022. His main research focus is on computer-aided drug discovery, including the development of new algorithm/software and the application of computational approaches in drug discovery.
