Natalia De Campos Kajimoto, PhD

Assistant Professor

Dr. Kajimoto is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics, UT Health San Antonio, School of Dentistry. She received her DDS, MS, PhD and Specialty in Periodontology from the São Paulo State University in Brazil. Dr. Kajimoto also has a Specialty in Dental Implants. She completed a post-doctorate in Periodontology at the São Paulo State University and New York University.  Dr. Kajimoto's main research activities are aimed to establish a comprehensive health promotion program that will significantly improve oral health and promote healthier behaviors in underdeveloped countries.  Research experience: global oral health, bone and periodontal healing, biomaterials, periodontal disease. Dr. Kajimoto has over 30 publications focused on periodontal research.
