Omar Jasim, MD
Assistant Professor/Clinical
Dr. Omar Jasim is a Hospitalist who joined UT Health San Antonio as an Assistant Professor/Clinical in September 2023. Dr. Jasim earned his MBChB in Medicine from the Baghdad University College of Medicine in Baghdad, Iraq in 2009 before going on to complete his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Arkansas/Baptist Health in North Little Rock, AR in 2023 (serving as Chief Resident from 2022 to 2023). He is a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
