Sara Suzanne Masoud, PhD, MPH
Assistant Professor
I am dedicated to a career in research and community service that centers around advocating for social justice among underserved and marginalized communities. My current research is focused on cultivating meaningful partnerships with communities to identify and support the needs of families impacted by dementia, with a concerted focus on supporting Latino families of South Texas. I seek to build relationships of mutual trust and respect to support stakeholder- driven research, program development, and evaluation. Using a community-focused approach, I am currently building capacity among primary and intermediary stakeholders in brain health and dementia care to collaborate in patient centered outcomes research.
