Paulina Ramirez, MD

Dr. Paulina Ramirez completed her undergraduate education at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas in 2012 where she received a Bachelor of Science in Hospital Management along with a minor in Microbiology. She earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2019. During medical school, she was selected as a Dornsife Global Development Scholar and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She then returned home to Texas and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Texas Tech Health Science Center in El Paso, Texas in 2023. During residency, Dr. Ramirez served as academic chief and was the 2022 SGO Outstanding Resident Recipient. Dr. Ramirez is currently completing her fellowship training in gynecology oncology and is honored to be a part of a patient’s cancer care team. Her research interests include disparities in gynecologic cancer care, palliative care, and cancer prevention. She is an active member of American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), Society of Gynecology Oncology (SGO), and National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA).
