Dr. Annetty Soto earned her dental degree at the only public and first dental school in the Dominican Republic, Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo. Then, Dr. Soto continued her training at Boston Medical Center and Boston University as a full-time, two-year fellow in Geriatric Dental Medicine, teaching and training pre-doctoral dental and medical students in geriatric care for homebound and institutionalized patients. In pursuit of her academic dedication, Dr. Soto accepted a position as Clinical assistant professor and Team leader at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2017, working intensively providing clinical instruction in the comprehensive care clinics, promoting the integration of evidence-based dentistry within dental education, curriculum development, and conducting research based on clinical aging issues.
