Dr. Marlen Robles-Moreno is a full-time Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at the University of Texas Health San Antonio (UTHSCSA) School of Dentistry. She earned her D.D.S. degree in 2002 from The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in Mexico City. She completed a one-year Internship program, at the Universities Hospital, as a Clinical Teaching Assistant in the Prosthodontics Department. She owned her own private practice in Mexico City, until she moved to the USA to further her education. In 2016 she earned her Master of Sciences in Dentistry (MSD) & Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Prosthodontics, from Boston University, Henry M. Goldman. School of Dental Medicine. After that, she moved to Georgia, where she held the position of Assistant Professor at the Dental College of Georgia for 5 years.
Dr. Robles joined UTHSA School of Dentistry in 2022, since then, she has been teaching multiple courses in Fixed Prosthodontics, complete dentures as well as, removable partial dentures for pre-clinical and Clinical Courses. She is the current course Director for PROS8001 Implant Course for DS4’s. In addition of supervising DS3 and DS4 students as the Prosthodontics Discipline Representative in the General Practice Group 5. Dr. Robles-Moreno has participated in Poster Presentations regarding research in Dental Materials at the International Association of Dental Research Annual Meetings (IADR); and has published articles in the different areas of prosthodontics. Dr. Robles is also an active Reviewer for the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry (JPD), a Fellow of the International College of Dentists - USA Section 15, and a member of the American College of Prosthodontist
