Belinda A Pena, FNP-BC

Belinda Pena, FNP-BC was born and raised in Eagle Pass, TX. She attended Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) where she graduated with her Bachelor in Science of Nursing in 2011. Belinda went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and graduated in 2017. Currently, Belinda is obtaining her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Texas Heath at San Antonio (UT Health).
Belinda moved to San Antonio in 2015 and started working in the operating room at University Hospital in 2015. She trained in Orthopaedic Surgery and specialized in Adult Reconstruction Surgery as well as Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. After obtaining her masters, Belinda felt it was time to provide care for her fellow Texans. She provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for certain conditions including Knee and Hip Arthritis as well as Shoulder and Elbow Trauma. Her goal is to restore mobility, function, and quality of life by developing an individual treatment plan.
Outside of work, Belinda enjoys going to church, spending time with family and friends, and exercising. Her other hobbies include reading, listening to music, and watching movies. In the future, Belinda would like to start traveling the world and exploring different cultures, arts, and foods.
