Hai Zhang, BDS, PhD

Dr. Hai Zhang comes from the University of Washington School of Dentistry where he was a Professor of Restorative Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontists. He earned his B.D.S. from West China University of Medical Sciences in 1992 and both his Ph.D. in Oral Biology and Certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Connecticut in 2002.
Dr. Zhang completed postdoctoral training in orthopedic surgery and has held faculty positions at the University of Connecticut and the University of Washington, where he was promoted to Professor with tenure in 2021. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists and an active member of several national dental organizations.
An accomplished clinician, researcher, and mentor, Dr. Zhang has received multiple awards for his research and teaching excellence.
