Z. Mike Yang, M.D.

Clinical Assistant Professor

Division of Laryngology

Zao Mike Yang, MD is a fellowship-trained laryngologist with clinical and research interests in voice, airway, and swallowing disorders. He is the director of the UT Health San Antonio Voice Center and the Brian N. Sheth Distinguished Chair for Voice and Airway Disorders. After finishing medical school at Washington University in Saint Louis and residency in otolaryngology at Louisiana State University, he went on to complete fellowship in laryngology with Dr. Gregory Postma at the Medical College of Georgia. He has published numerous manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals, textbook chapters, and regularly presents original research at national meetings and conferences.
