Katherine A. Willborn, MD

Assistant Professor/Clinical
Dr. Katherine Willborn is a board-certified Hospitalist who joined UT Health San Antonio in June 2014 as an Assistant Professor/Clinical at the South Texas Veterans' Affairs Hospital. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, TX in 2007. She then completed her Internal Medicine residency at the same institution in June 2011 and an Acute Care Medicine fellowship at the Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide, South Australia in 2014. Dr. Willborn also earned her Bachelor of Arts in Art History (with a minor in Chemistry) from Baylor University in Waco, TX in 2003.
Dr. Willborn has served the international community by attending medical mission trips to Nigeria, Haiti, and Mexico.
