Dr. George Wilcox is a board-certified Hospitalist who joined UT Health San Antonio in January 2025 as an Assistant Professor/Clinical at the Multispecialty and Research Hospital. He completed his pre-med program at St. Mary's University in 1989 with a Bachelor's of Science before going on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, TX in 1993. Dr. Wilcox also earned his Master of Business Administration from Auburn University in 2010. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Brooke Army Medical Center in 1996. Dr. Wilcox is a Fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine.
