Theodoro Weissheimer, DDS, MS, PhD

Dr. Theodoro Weissheimer received his D.D.S. from the Lutheran University of Brazil, his M.S. and Ph.D. in Endodontics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil, and completed his specialized training in Endodontics at the Gaucho Institute of Post-Graduation in Dentistry – Brazil. Dr. Weissheimer is a clinician-scientist and educator who was granted two prestigious Brazilian government scholarships in the past and is fully committed to advancing the field of Endodontics. His primary research interests include the effects of various treatments on dental pulp, pain management, and the development of technologies for pulp/periapical diagnosis. Dr. Weissheimer currently works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
