Dr. Jennifer S. Weaver is an accomplished radiologist with a deep commitment to patient care, education, and professional leadership. She graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health and completed her residency and fellowship at the University of Michigan, specializing in musculoskeletal imaging.

Her career has been defined by a blend of clinical excellence and academic dedication. Dr. Weaver has served as a faculty member at several esteemed institutions, including the University of New Mexico and Vanderbilt University, and is currently a Professor of Radiology at the University of Texas Health Sciences San Antonio. From 2016 to 2022, she was the Section Chief of Musculoskeletal Imaging at the University of New Mexico, where she spearheaded educational and quality improvement initiatives. Dr. Weaver is a prolific author and presenter, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and a strong presence at international and national conferences. She has been recognized with multiple awards for her teaching and educational exhibits, including the Golden Apple Teaching Award and the Chair’s Most Valuable Player Award. In addition to her clinical and academic work, she is an active leader in the field, serving on committees for the American Board of Radiology and as an Assistant Editor for the RadioGraphics Podcast. Her contributions demonstrate a sustained commitment to advancing the practice of radiology through research, mentorship, and innovation.
