Stefany Vicente, MD

Stefany is a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) fellow with a strong foundation in both engineering and medicine. A San Antonio native, she first discovered her passion for women’s health while attending Health Careers High School. She earned her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and went on to complete her medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She remained at UC for her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, where she developed a deep interest in reproductive medicine.

She is passionate about patient advocacy, equitable access to fertility care, and advancing reproductive education. Returning to San Antonio for fellowship has been a meaningful step in giving back to the community that inspired her journey into medicine.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and landscape photography. She lives with her husband Mikael, their son Giovanni, and their dog Bailey.
