Anatole Trakhtenbroit, MD, FACC, FASE

Dr. Trakhtenbroit graduated in 1984 from Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

He started internship and residency at UTHSCSA.  He was selected to serve as a Chief Resident in Internal Medicine with 6 months in at University Hospital and 6 months at the VA hospital.

He started cardiology fellowship in 1988 at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He did a year in training as Interventional cardiology as well as an extra 6 months of training in TEE and echocardiography.

He joined Cardiology Clinic of San Antonio in 1991 and remained there until 2020. He served as a Director of the Non-Invasive Cardiology at Methodist Hospital as well as Medical Director of the newly founded Cardio-oncology service.

He is board certified in Cardiology, Nuclear and Echocardiography. His passion is continuing patient care, teaching Cardiology fellows Echocardiography, all activities in Department of Cardiology.
