Arthur Tarricone, DPM

Dr. Tarricone is a highly accomplished board certfied podiatrist specializing in diabetic limb salvage and research. He holds a Master's degree in Biostatistics from the Icahn School of Medicine and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and fellowship in diabetic limb salvage and research at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

He has a passion for research, and this is reflected in his awards and publications. His research interests have led to collaboration across  multiple specialties including translational research, interventional cardiology, vascular surgery, and orthopedic surgery. While his research efforts have been interdisciplinary the focus has remained consistent: preservation of the lower extremity and limb salvage. Dr. Tarricone has presented research findings at prestigious national and international meetings and is now the acting co-director of the podiatry arm of the New York Endovascular Symposium (NYEVS). Dr. Tarricone and has received multiple Manuscript awards and received the early career faculty award from the Wound Healing Society.
