Kenneth E Stone, MD, FACC

Non-Invasive Cardiology

Dr. Stone is an invasive cardiologist and Deputy Chief of Cardiology at Audie L. Murphy Veterans Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Stone obtained his B.S. in Psychology and M.S. in Neuroscience at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. He earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio where he also served as Director of Cardiovascular Imaging.
Dr. Stone joined UTHSCSA and San Antonio VA in 2018. He is Assistant Professor of Medicine and Director of Noninvasive Lab at Audie L Murphy. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of Society of Cardiac CT. He is Board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography and Cardiovascular CT.
He enjoys teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. He has special interest in coronary CT angiography and coronary imaging.
