Jesse Stewart, MD

Dr. Jesse Stewart is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at UT Health San Antonio, having joined the faculty in April 2025. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Texas A&M University in 2003, followed by his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston in 2010. Dr. Stewart completed his internship year and residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) in Dallas, graduating in 2014.

Following his residency, Dr. Stewart served on the faculty at UTSW, where he provided anesthesia services to the diverse population of Dallas County at Parkland Memorial Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and has extensive experience in both clinical practice and teaching.

Dr. Stewart’s clinical and research interests are focused on acute post-operative pain management, with particular expertise in regional anesthesia techniques. His research aims to optimize pain control methods, improve patient outcomes, and enhance the safety and efficacy of anesthetic practices. He has contributed to numerous publications in these areas, further advancing the field of anesthesiology.
