Michael T. Shoffeitt, MD
Co-Director, Medicine Consultation and Co-Management Service
Associate Professor/Clinical
Dr. Michael Shoffeitt is a published, board-certified Hospitalist who joined UT Health San Antonio as an Assistant Professor/Clinical in 2013 before rising to the rank of Associate Professor/Clinical in September 2019. He completed his undergraduate studies at Tulane University in 2005 before going on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from Thomas Jefferson University in 2010. Dr. Shoffeitt completed his Internal Medicine residency at Tulane University in 2013, becoming certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine that same year. Dr. Shoffiett is a dedicated member of Hospital Medicine faculty and was recognized with the "Division Excellence Award" (2023), nominated by his peers for exemplifying collaboration, teamwork, and collegiality within the Division.
