Yun Shi, MD
Assistant Professor/Clinical
I am a family physician and clinical educator dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care while advancing the training of future clinicians. My clinical work spans inpatient and outpatient settings, with particular focus on mental health, chronic disease management, and improving access for underserved populations.
As an academic faculty member, I am committed to high-quality medical education through precepting, curriculum development, and mentorship across the continuum of learners. I have contributed to educational initiatives in telemedicine, LGBTQ+ health, point-of-care ultrasound, and other areas that strengthen core competencies in family medicine.
My scholarly work integrates community engagement, health literacy, telehealth, and the application of AI/ML in primary care. Through these efforts, I aim to develop sustainable, data-informed approaches that enhance patient care, support learner development, and improve population health.
