Arthur D Shaw, DDS

Dr. Arthur Shaw earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSA) in 1981. With a career spanning over four decades, he has been in private practice since 1995, focusing on comprehensive general dentistry.

Dr. Shaw’s expertise includes all phases of general dentistry, such as fixed and removable orthodontics, implant restoration, and the management of sleep-disordered breathing in both children and adults. His dedication to the field has led him back to UTHSA, where he now serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor, sharing his knowledge and experience with future generations of dental professionals.

He is an active member of several esteemed professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and San Antonio District Dental Society. He is also a distinguished member of the Academy of Dentistry International, the International College of Dentists, and a Life Member of the University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio Alumni Association.
