Priya Sharma, MD
Assistant Professor/Clinical
Dr. Priya Sharma is a published, board-certified Hospitalist who joined UT Health San Antonio as an Assistant Professor/Clinical in June 2023. Dr. Sharma earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India in 2010 before going on to complete her Internal Medicine residency at the UIC/Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL in 2017 (serving as Chief Resident with a focus in Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, and Observation Medicine from 2016 to 2017). Dr. Sharma has served the community by volunteering her time with several organizations including Advocate Christ Medical Center, Greater Chicago Food Bank, Pulse Polio Immunization Campaign, the Department of Community with Kasturba Medical College, and Emerson Hospital.
