Kevin C. Schindler, MD

Associate Professor/Clinical
Dr. Kevin Schindler is a published, board-certified Hospitalist who joined UT Health San Antonio in 2008 as an Assistant Professor/Clinical, rising to the rank of Associate Professor/Clinical in 2015 and serving as Medical Director of the HEB Clinical Skills Center. He maintains active clinical service at both University Hospital and the South Texas Veterans' Healthcare System on both teaching and non-teaching services. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2005 before going on to complete his Internal Medicine residency at the same institution in 2008. Dr. Schindler is board-certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Schindler has received many "Outstanding Teacher" awards since 2010 and is very committed to medical student teaching education leading courses on clinical skills, curriculum development and management, as well as mentoring.
