Cassandra Rubio, PA-C

Cassandra Rubio graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After her graduation, she remained on campus, working as an Academic Advisor for Electrical and Computer Engineering students. After several years in academia, she decided to pursue a career in healthcare. She earned her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Cassandra began her career working with UT Health San Antonio in the General Surgery Service before joining the Trauma and Emergency Services team, where she collaborated with resident teams to provide care for the South Texas community. In May 2025, PA Rubio joined the UT Health Orthopaedic Department.
