Kyle Ransom, MSN, MS, BA , APRN, RN, PMHMP-BC
Assistant Professor/Clinical
Mr. Ransom joins UT Health San Antonio School of Nursing after having worked as a psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner at various outpatient settings since 2017. In addition to managing chronic and complex mental illness with traditional psychotropic medications, he also has experience providing ketamine injections for treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Alongside providing patient care, Mr. Ransom has enjoyed precepting students from various professions, including nursing, medicine, pharmacy, and physician assistant studies.Mr. Ransom is passionate about promoting holistic, patient-centered, and evidenced-based practices that nursing has long championed.
