Assistant Professor
Kristina Ramirez is an alumna of UT Health Respiratory Care program and joined the faculty of Respiratory Care as assistant professor and director of clinical education in 2017. Her interests include adult critical care and asthma. She enjoys spreading the same passion she has for the respiratory care field to her students. Her goal is to be a mentor and leader in the respiratory care community. She visits clinical sites near and far to maintain relationships with the hospitals and staff and to check on students and their progress during their clinical rotations and internships. Currenlty, Kristina serves as Jr. Delegate for the Texas Society for Respiratory Care and Chair for the Interprofessional Team NetWork Steering Committee for CHEST.
