Identifying injury and ICU management risk factors and outcomes of patients who developed
ventilator associated pneumonia after a severe traumatic brain injury in pediatric patients

2023-Present Feeding Pathway for Pediatrics Patients under 2 on High Flow Nasal Cannula
Developed guideline for when it is appropriate to feed infants on high flow nasal cannula therapy in pediatric units for University Hospital based on current practices and literature review, guideline published for hospital use in May 2024

Administrative Role Description: Helped educate pediatric residents on rapid response and code events by facilitating mock code scenarios during quarterly didactic sessions. Educated residents on resuscitation and procedures in the simulation lab.

Administrative Role Description: Selected by program leadership for program evaluation committee for UTHSCSA Pediatric Critical Care Medicine fellowship. Representative for our fellows to advocate for change and improvement to the program with both program and institutional leadership at semi-annual meetings throughout duration of fellowship.
