Justin Pruitt, NRP

Justin Pruitt has been in Emergency Medical Services for over 30 years. He has been with the EHS department since 2006. He began as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Initial Education division prior to his current role as a CTO with the Office of the Medical Director which he started in 2010. He has extensive experience with 911 ground and air transport, having worked for numerous flight services and EMS agencies throughout his career and is currently a field paramedic with the City of Schertz where he has been since 2007. His main areas of focus at the OMD include teaching continuing education courses and managing the Field Training and Evaluation Program for the SAFD, as well as quality improvement for stroke patients through the Southwest Texas Regional Advisory Council’s stroke committee.
