Anne E Porter, MD MPH
Assistant Professor
Subspecialties: Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery
Dr. Porter was a member of the Honors College at the University of Houston, graduating in 2002 with a degree in Biology. She received her Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2006. She then completed medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2013, followed by residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She completed fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery in 2020 and returned to San Antonio to join the faculty at UT Health San Antonio. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, chronic pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding, surgical simulation, and resident education.
