Kristen A. Plastino, M.D.

Professor, Vice Chair for Clinical Operations

Director of UT Teen Health

Dr. Plastino earned a B.S. and Pharm.D. from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science. She then attended the University of South Florida Medical School, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. She received her M.D. in 1999. Dr. Plastino joined the department July 2003 after successfully completing her residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Plastino is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is the director of UT Teen Health. Her special interests are adolescent gynecology, adolescent reproductive health, and contraception.
