Thais Phillips, DDS, MDS
Assistant Professor/Clinical
Dr. Phillips onboarded with UT Health San Antonio, School of Dentistry in August 2024.She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from UNESP in 2016 and completed a Master’s Degree in Dental Science from UT Health San Antonio in 2024. Dr. Phillips has received a certificate in AEGD in 2024. Her clinical expertise includes extensive knowledge in digital dentistry, comprehensive and esthetically driven treatment planning, implants, complex dental surgery, IVCS, fixed and operative. Dr Phillips has completed several interdisciplinary cases of full mouth rehabilitations, including all on x, complex implant rehabs, and fixed prosthesis. Dr. Phillips is calibrated in ICDAS (International Caries Detection and Assessment System) through the Forsyth Institute in Cambridge. Dr. Phillips has extensive research experience and has published several articles. She has presented at several national meetings. Currently, Dr. Phillips is assisting in the development of research projects for future MSDS residents in the AEGD program.
