Sandra S. Osswald, M.D.

Dr. Sandra Osswald received her undergraduate degree from Boston University College of Liberal Arts and her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. She then completed a residency in Dermatology at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. She later completed a fellowship in Dermatopathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington, D.C. She has been Chair of the Department of Dermatology at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, and is a retired USAF colonel. She is now Associate Professor and Chief of the Division of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Osswald is board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology and has been involved in numerous presentations, teachings and publications.
