Alia Noohu Nazarullah, M.D.
Associate Professor
Dr. Nazarullah is an Associate Professor/Clinical at University of Texas Health, San Antonio and specializes in breast pathology and hematopathology. Her clinical practices include general surgical pathology, breast pathology, hematopathology, autopsy pathology and non-gynecologic cytopathology. She is the lead breast pathologist in the department and plays an active role in the breast cancer multidisciplinary care team at UT Health, Mays Cancer Center and University Hospital. Her research interests include translational studies in diagnostic breast pathology and breast cancer. She also serves as the Associate Pathology Residency Program Director and directs the Anatomic Pathology elective rotation for medical students. She is also involved in medical student education as a module co-director, lecturer and histopathology laboratory instructor.
