Haressh Babu Bhaskaran Nair, PhD

Dr. Nair received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Mahatma Gandhi University (Amala Cancer Research Center) India in 2003. After completing pre-doctoral training at University of Pittsburgh, he joined as a postdoctoral research fellow in our Department in 2003 in Dr. Tekmal’s group. He became an Instructor in 2006 and Assistant Professor in 2008 in the same Department. His major research goal includes developing targeted therapeutics that could make a meaningful impact on the lives of cancer patients. His projects involve cancer chemoprevention, molecular epigenetic prognostic markers and modulation of targeted-drug activity in gynecological malignancies.
