Ghanshyam R. Mudigonda, MD

Dr. Ghanshyam Mudigonda is a published Hospitalist who joined UT Health San Antonio as an Assistant Professor/Clinical in July 2023. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Arts in Biology (graduating with Honors) from the University of Texas at Austin in 2015 before going on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from Texas A&M College of Medicine in College Station, TX in 2020. Dr. Mudigonda completed his Internal Medicine Residency, Clinical Educator Track, at LSU Health in Shreveport, LA in June 2023. He is a member of several professional organizations including the American Thoracic Society and the Society of Critical Care Medicine and is the recipient of the Health Science Scholar (2014) and Intern of the Month (March 2021) Awards. Dr. Mudigonda hosts a podcast, History of Present Illness, available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
