Throughout my 11 years’ experience in nursing, specifically in Maternal/Child Health and Medical-Surgical/Orthopedics, I have opportunities to lead my peers in different capacities, including as charge nurse, educating students as a DEU lead teacher, educating my peers, working as Adjunct Faculty. I now can live my dream to serve as an Assistant Professor/Clinical at UTHSCSA. With dual national certifications, nursing experience, preceptorship, professional education, I want to positively influence the lives of students. With my passion for teaching others, my goal is to educate the future generation of nurses, inspiring them to exceed their potential and be fantastic nurses upon graduation, as well as beyond. By my contributions in education, my goal is to further the nursing profession.
