Christine Meiners, DDS, FICD
Assistant Professor/Clinical
Director of Community Learning
Dr. Meiners is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry. She currently serves as the Director of Community for Learning and Course Director for Integrated Community Clinic Rotations in Dentistry. She helps oversee external dental student rotations to provide opportunities for community outreach to diverse patient populations throughout South Texas. She is currently a Fellow of the Hispanic Center of Excellence, assists with the Leaning Enhancement for Achievement in Dentistry (LEAD) program, and serves as a collaborator for the Center for Global and Community Oral Health.
Dr. Meiners is a member of the Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Hispanic Dental Association. She has served as President of the San Antonio District Dental Society, San Antonio Academy of General Dentistry, and the Greater San Antonio Hispanic Dental Associtation. She has served nationally as President and Interim Executive Director of the Hispanic Dental Association. She is a Fellow in the Internaional College of Dentists and was voted 2024 Texas Dentist of the Year.
