Sheryl Mathew, MSN, RN
Assistant Professor/Clinical
Devoted and motivating nursing educator with diverse clinical expertise, who is committed to lifelong professional education and evidence-based practice and invested in the quality of patient care. Teaching philosophy revolves around helping students both inside and outside of school, not only pushing their academic results, but also being involved in their successes as they follow their career paths. Challenging students with realistic goals and supporting them to not only excel in academia but use those lessons and skills to solve problems on their own in the workforce brings both the educator and the learner out on top. Authenticity, ambition, adaptability, and diversity are few among the strengths that I possess. Understanding what the student requires to succeed and preparing them for the future of healthcare is the foundation of nursing education.
