Ahmed Mansour, M.D., M.R.C.S.

Dr. Mansour is an Associate Professor of Urology at UT Health San Antonio. He completed his residency at Mansoura Urology and Nephrology Center; a leading Urological Institute and then completed a Society of Urologic Oncology accredited fellowship training at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and University of Miami, Millers School of Medicine. Dr. Mansour is an experienced uro-oncologist, he specializes in minimally invasive laparoscopic /robotic surgery. Dr. Mansour has particular expertise in the adoption of minimally invasive (robotics/laparoscopy) in addition to open surgical approaches for treating patients with kidney, prostate and bladder cancers. Dr. Mansour has special research interests in bladder cancer and different techniques of urinary diversion. Dr. Mansour also pioneers advanced Laser prostate surgery for management of BPH namely Holmium/ Thulium Laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP/ThuLEP).

Dr. Mansour’s clinical interests include: laparoscopic and robotic urologic oncology, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, adrenal cancer, prostate cancer, stone disease, BPH, Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP).
