William Mallott, MD
Assistant Professor/Clinical
Dr. William Mallott is a board-certified Hospitalist who joined UT Health San Antonio in January 2025 as an Assistant Professor/Clinical at the Multispecialty and Research Hospital. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Texas Tech Health Science Center School of Medicine in Lubbock, TX in 2001 before going on to complete his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, serving as Chief Resident from 2004-2005. Dr. Mallott also earned his Bachelor of Art in Biology from Texas A&M University at College Station, TX in 1997.
Dr. Mallott is the recipient of several accolades including Baptist Health's "Press Ganey Pinnacle of Excellence Award for Inpatient Patient Satisfaction" (2017) and the "Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award for Inpatient Patient Satisfaction" (2013-2015), North Baptist's "Physician of the Quarter" (2012).
