Assistant Professor/Clinical
Dr. Ting-Wei Lu is a published, board-certified Hospitalist who joined UT Health San Antonio as an Assistant Professor/Clinical in the Division of Hematology/Oncology in 2010, transferring to the Division of Hospital Medicine in 2014. Dr. Lu earned his Bachelor of Science in the Plan II Honors Program from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998 before going on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX in 2003. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2006 and a Hematology/Oncology fellowship program at the same institution in 2010 (serving as Chief Fellow from 2009 to 2010). Dr. Lu is a dedicated educator engaged in numerous committees and teaching programs and is a two-time winner of the "Outstanding Faculty for Internal Medicine Clerkship" Award (2017, 2020).
