Laurie Lopez, DNP, CRNA is the Deputy Chief CRNA for the Multispecialty Research Hospital at UT Health San Antonio
Dr. Lopez received her doctorate of nursing practice in 2022 from UT Health San Antonio. She completed her Masters Degree in Anesthesiology from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin.
Previously, Dr. Lopez was the Director of Anesthesia for the Gastroenterology Consultants of San Antonio. She managed anesthesia services at four ambulatory surgery centers across the San Antonio metropolitan area. Prior to her assignment at GCSA, she worked as a CRNA for UT Health at University Hospital.
Dr. Lopez is also active in the CRNAs of San Antonio non-profit professional organization. She established the group in 2016 and has worked to further professional CRNA education, build professional networks across San Antonio, and inform the CRNA community of the latest medical trends related to the field of anesthesia.
