Ashley M Lopez, CNM
Specialist – Certified Nurse Midwife
Ashley Lopez graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English followed by a Master of Arts in Teaching from Muskingum University. She taught high school for four years before deciding to pursue her true passion in Women’s Health. Ms. Lopez went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University and, eventually, her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University. She has ten years’ experience in women’s health, specializing in obstetrics and lactation. Ms. Lopez joined the faculty at UT Health San Antonio in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2020. Her goal is to provide holistic, woman-centered care with a strong focus on educating and empowering her patients.
